This is about polar bears. They look cute but they are vicious they could tear a whale carcase to shreds, now lets get to they facts
Polar bears live along shores and on sea ice in the icy cold Arctic. When sea ice forms over the ocean in cold weather many polar bears, except pregnant females, head out onto the ice to hunt seals. Polar bears have been spotted on the sea ice hundreds of miles from shore. When the warm weather causes the sea ice to melt, polar bears move back to shore. Polar bears primarily eat seals. Polar bears often rest silently at a seals breathing hole in the ice, waiting for the seal to come above the surface. Once the seal comes up,the bear will spring and sink its jagged teeth into the seals head (I told you they were vicious.) Sometimes the polar bear stalks its prey. It may see a seal lying near its breathing hole and slowly move towards it, then charges at it, biting its head or grabbing it with it sharp, massive claws. A polar bear may also hunt by swimming beneath the ice. In fall pregnant polar bears make dens in earth and snow banks, where they'll stay through the winter and give birth to one to three cubs. Generally, she will nurse them for two and a half years. During that time she will protect them from harm and teach them how to hunt for they're own food. Paw pads with rough surfaces help prevent prevent polar bears from slipping on the ice. Polar bears swim using their large front paws to propel themselves through the water, and their back legs to steer. Only humans prey on polar bears. The scientific name for a polar bear is Ursus maritimus, which means "sea bear,". Adult males generally weigh between 720 and 1700 pounds (363 and 771 kilograms). Adult females often weigh between 500 and 600 pounds (227 and 272 kilograms). Males can grow to ten feet (three meters) in length, that's about the height of a one story building.Polar bears are the largest predators on land, and are the largest type of bear. Thats all about the polar bear see you next time bye :)

Penguins
Hello everyone i'm sorry about the break between christmas and now. We will be talking about them today, first we will be talking about penguins, oh i do love penguins
facts about penguins: Penguins are birds with black and white feathers and a funny waddle. But unlike most birds, penguins are not able to fly -- in the air that is. Penguins spend as much as 75% of their time under water, searching for food in the ocean. When they are in the water, they dive and flap their wings, it looks like they are flying. Penguins are shaped like a torpedo. Their body is built for the most efficient weather and swimming, with their average speed in the water being about 15 mph. SCIENTIFIC FACT:Penguins make up the scientific order Sphenisciformes and the family Spheniscidea. Is that enough facts for you, if not i will give you one more. Did you know that the largest size of Emperor penguin is1.1m. Well thats all for now because my page hardly has any room in exactly two minutes we will be back. Goodbye for now :)
